Dear Lord My Little Light

As a Lightworker, it can seem like the task is insurmountable, and that the world is definitely not interested in goodness. Despite this, the good we do sends ripples through space and time. We don't usually experience the impact that we make. But, there are those special and magical moments when we are able to know that we've helped create a miracle for someone. Please don't give up being the light in the dark. The world needs good vibes.

Dear Lord
(My little light)

Dear Lord,

Sometimes I feel like
My little light is so small
Sometimes I wonder
If I make a difference at all

But then there is a moment
When You send me a reminder spark
You let me know that someone
Has felt my light in their dark

For everyone is suffering
From something in their life
It may not be today
But the words resonate just right

We all go through struggles
We all suffer hurt and pain
Our hearts feel it deeply
Our souls learn and gain

And every so often
The kindness we say and do
Touches someone deeply
And gives them hope anew

So, thank You for the message
Thank You for Your love
I am grateful to be the bearer
Of Your light and grace from above

May I be the difference
You want in this world
And may every heart I touch
Feel lighter with Your help

Thank You, Lord
Amen
