Dear Lord!
Today I awake and pray for peace
Let your ears be attentive and your mercy release
Hug us all dear lord because we need your love
Righteousness has left us all and went up above
My prayers are for you and only you to answer
This is an urgent prayer, for wickedness has spread like cancer
Faith produces much patience, for you lord I must
There are men that play for keeps, in you they do not trust
I'm doing what I can father, that is to encourage and strengthen others
Am I failing? Have I become weak?
Men find it hard to love there own brother
Hatred out-weighs love while anger prevails over respect
I'm stuck in between two wars but I'll out last them both with
the shield of faith. It's yours to elect.
