Dear, Let's Go Shopping Today

Dear, Let’s Go Shopping Today

If the husband’s young or old
He’ll be wise to do as he’s told

It’s extreme folly if he should dare
Say going with her he doesn’t care

So it’s off with her to the mall
To prowl the stores, one and all

When he shops, he has no doubt
It’s in the store, get it and out

But she will examine and compare
So it’s for hours they’ll be there

He hears, “Does this make me look fat?”
And other loaded questions like that

The best way to answer he doesn’t know
He’s wise if he makes a stab at it though

Boredom he better not let her see
Or in deepest trouble he will be

I loved how you made the man so innocent in everything going on there...it's a fact that even the man enjoys shopping as well as long as it is something he enjoys in the first place! Like I can't imagine many men not enjoying or looking forward to going the Best Buy!! Unless he doesn't have the money to get what he wants, then I can see him not wanting to go!
