*I close my eyes and think of you and though the stars of night
have silvered me with age they still unlock my mind,
time after time *
Inner child of mine don't fail me now
Nacred with age and light I am nearing the hour
Naturally, like a child yawning in her sleep
Eternal as the sea I ebb and then recede
Receive me now oh sleeping child and help me
Cardiac rhythms slow but heart is keeping pace
Harmony of life still wrapped within my youth
I'd like to open you and cradle you once more
Love me inner child, love me tenderly until I ,
