Dear God
Dear God please guide me through
the night and throughout the day.
Let me feel your touch in every way.
Give me strength to face one day at a time,
so that I can love and give you all that is mine.
I live not to please others but only you God, the one above.
I live to be honest, kind, compassionate and to love.
Pour the fruits of your spirit upon each and every one of us.
Teach us to love, rather than to fight and curse.
Lead us out of the darkness and bring us into the light.
Show us that with and through you we can make it in any fight.
You are our rock, our sword and our shield.
Now I’m down on my bended knees to say
I love you Lord,
I love you now
and I’ll always will.
