Dear God, I don't believe we've met
Is it true you help the lonely
I've asked nothing of you yet
Do you think theres someone out there
Who might be right for me
Just want to know, if theres someone out there
Just thought i'd ask and see
My luck with life has changed
Gone wrong in so many ways
Well do you think there someone out there
For my last and dying days
Do you think theres someone out there
Who would like me just for me
Or am I destined to be lonely
Is that the way it has to be
