Dear Friend

Dear friend, Is it your feeble knock i hear Waiting to offer a lifetime tale Wailing in gasps to create This great affinity we treasure? I'll be lying if I denied so Is it real, That it's you and I who blew that candle And left luscious tones vibrating behind That its you and I who made the bond to be in full bloom And brought to life a sedate surpassing beauty A beauty of life A friendship for life? I'll be honest to claim it so I've searched every nook and cranny So as to get a friend like you I've journeyed with every of my thought And, all I can say is, THANK YOU For a great friend you've been For a best friend you'll always be This poem is very special to me.
