Deadly Intruder

POEM " DEADLY INTRUDER" by martin gedge What is this intrusion of each breath I'm taking in to move with every muscle nestled neath my blood and skin thus wrapped around the coil and like soil rooted deep to foil an apparatus in the lungs as creepers creep can't mask the situation to eliminate its race as to the touch will hurt as much that's littered on the face a stricken drive has just arrived from species known to man the need is just to stay alive and vaccinate a plan injected in the system with the symptoms to compose through every beat and rhythm that is vital to the rose each prick to stick inside the wall to plant it's deadly vice from panic to pandemic as we scurry all like mice and forced atone to stay at home and hide behind the scene locked and chained with every strain in self made quarantine the deadly toll in constant roll a planet to unfold clear that fear is so severe when gravity's taking hold and as each case is taking place moves closer to the heart it's time to line the greatest minds to come out of the dark a world awaits in dyer fate that we shall overcome and to defeat this monster meat for peace and everyone but hell to pay we see this day a virus on the spread with every prayer that takes to air in sheets that cover dead who knows how long this must go on an end we need in sight for eyes anew to grasp a view to see the morning light... by martin gedge©
