Genesis 3.....KJV

17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

I fed the wild red cardinals A special mix of seeds They dropped them in my herb garden Which now grows mostly weeds Like bramble briars and poison Oak with deadly effects Upon the gardener's allergic skin Which now is itchy specked I have been trying to do a little care in my flowering plants beds. Well, there is five sisters and poison oak growing plus bramble briars..I am very allergic to poison oak..I have about decided that I need to get a professional person to come in and dig it all up and let us restart with some new plants..Now what professional will come in to clear out poison oak???

My hubbie would be able to ! Too bad you live far away. he got a big machine that allows him to dig up just about anything, doing some business on the side when he can. I enjoyed your poem. Guess what I am doing, Sara? I am picking and eating my own dandelions. Not weeds to ME but nutrition!!

I am spraying the poison ivy everyday or two but it will pop up somewhere else..The leaves, stems and all of the plant will cause breaking out..If the liquid inside the plant gets on your gloves, garden tools one can get the liquid off of that and it will break them out as well..Sara

Andrea, Well, there is a long answer to this one. I have read that the settlers brought dandelion over here from England to plant for nutrition..Now when we get a salad at places when we eat out we get a mixed green salad and it has dandelion and beet tops in it and who knows what else..Tommy has the equipment to dig up the flower beds but I want to save some of the plants..Sara

No, I haven't broken out yet..I have tried to be very careful and I will take a shower hoping to remove any oils that may have gotten on me..I have only had an episode once in my life and the doctor said if it happened again to get to a doctor immediately..Sara
