Dead Wife Walking

I have grown tired and weary
Feeling drained and defeated
My desire to give is no more

I have tackled the fight
I've exhausted all my punches
Done trying to settle the score

Am I expecting too much
From this life that I am living?
There's gotta be more than this

What happened to Happy wife, Happy life'?
Feels like those days are numbered
Is this what becomes of wedded bliss?

Hello Tammy O'Leary, yes I know what you mean. We expect the marriage to be the same. But somehow it changes. Enjoy your day my friend.

Routine is comfortable, yet people despise it. People - especially seniors - do NOT like change, either! Enter daydreams! Aloha! Rico
