Dead Heaven

I think I’ve lost my sunshine
But then again I’m not a part of the day
For the dead I will become night
Just to feed the vampire I’ve held away

When did I lose the feeling?
I no longer care what happens to friends
But now I see it all disappearing
And I realise that it began with the end

I was living for mercy
All I’ve done was out of holding me down
But the creature that was watching
Was whispering why my reasons should drown

What I feel is in waiting
What I need is for something to die
It’s for what every death is stating
It’s for the soul far beyond me that cries

I have been killed for this becoming
Better dead than to deny what I am
And though both worlds come to burn me
My dead heaven will always bleed in my hands
