Dead By December

Dead by December 11-25-2016 Attendance call. An alias is a named mistake As regret is fortune to a failure. The wealth of wisdom (stays in wise hands) And knowing which ones scar will also teach And are those worthy we shall make. The strength in a secret well kept The unsureness of attempted escape The end of an era. This unity frozen. While cooperation remains out of reach Falling off tongues and landing on lists These alias’s added to the shimigami* debt Has this all been a test? Does our vehicle have breaks? Death note, death rattle. Young death. Is not inherited or a sick legacy Blinded in talent – Killing today A warrior’s end granted Thrown onto one’s own sword, missed. “Maybe tomorrow! We are tired today.” To the cause, and to all failure A fortunes found in our regrets A wave without eyes – the little death – tremulous hands shake A shaky breath. A pledge and promise, warped in a good-bye kiss. The means to emancipation;; in the words – a file in the cake. Class dismissed. And remember children, do not be fake. You all have the potential And the power to be great.
*Shimigami = Japanese literal translation “death god” the grim reapers of Japanese mythology. A common anime concept. Bleach, death note.
