Dazzling Fragrance of the Rain
As I venture across the salty landscape
it matters not my feet are tender.
Into the flowered fields I wander
giving myself to sweet surrender.
Mists of showers upon my shoulders
dancing light as a fairy wing,
dusting my soul with awe and wonder;
lifting my heart and letting it sing.
Inhaling deeply of nature's tonic,
tasting the clouds upon my tongue.
Soon the droplets will be subdued
just as a bell that has been rung.
Till then I'm loving this magical fragrance
that brings me peace and rests my heart.
Or I'll step high in a gypsy dance;
twirling my skirts as the sky blows apart!
