Dazzle
There I stood in the darkest of light
The glittering edge of forever night
Ahead I tried to peer
Through a glimmer of a tear
Dazzling my wide open eyes
Seeing time, how it flies
Stepping ahead into the light
Just looked so right
Changing of a way
Time set aside for a day
Stepping within the tick and the tock
Standing still halting your walk
To step into this warm light
It looked so right
But fear held me in place
It showed on my face
Future is of the unknown
We know what the past has shown
Free of the shadow of night
Looked so right
I took that step foward
Pushing my way ever foward
Then one day
Happy to say
Was standing in that light
And it felt so right
