Days of Our Lives

Day goes by like the flash of light, darkness arrives and we have night.
Day in day out of lifes big bad game, I'm filled with an unbearable shame.
I see who I was and I just have to cringe, my heart starts to sting with a sharp
piercing pinge.
I took all the wrong roads but still ended up right, my life all it was was a dark
constant night.
I tried to find my way out to the daylight ahead, my mind was bogged down
with a feeling of dread.
Some how I found my way out, out of the dark and into the light.
