Days of Haze
Days of Haze
Struggle throughout the day,
Trying to hold my fatigue at bay.
I feel so malaise,
Muddling through my days.
The exhaustion is so extreme
It makes me want to scream!
This disaster is not what I was after.
I get ready for my day
Knowing things will not go my way.
If I sit down and don’t keep going,
It sets in and keeps growing.
I cannot fulfill all my desires
My body runs on four flat tires.
Lord, please deliver me
from my misery.
And put my energy intact,
So I don’t have to keep up this lethargic act.
