Days of Bravery

How brave were these days,
Brave in so many ways.

The friend she loved was away
She hoped he would stay.

He will be back soon,
May be he will be here by tomorrow noon.

They had met one day,
Special in every way.

She came to love him as a friend,
Days with him without end.

His appearance too handsome for words,
Conversations with him hardly ever heard.

Hugs enhanced and friendly,
She wished she could say, I love you tenderly.

Miracles happen when you least expect them,
Secretly waiting for a miracle called reunion.
