Days Are Numbered
Take it easy,take it hard
Take it inch by inch, take it by the yard
Get it,how you get it
Remember how you got it
And don't ever say you forgot it
Remember a word so misunderstood
Superstitions got you knocking on wood
Got you making the sign of the cross
Got you thinking your friends a jinx and that's why you loss
We forget the things that mean the most
And get side tracked by something a star post
Caught up in bull*****that don't matter
Far fetched dreams make your ego a mirror that's shore to shatter
Remember the first time you had a crush
The first time you drank like a lush
The first time you ever kissed
But more importantly the time with your family you missed
Memories are the things you shouldn't forget
Rather then saying pappa need a new pair of shoes when you lay your next bet
Forget not betting the opposing team
Cause win or lose you'll never fur full you dream
Wake up like god parted the sky's and hit you with a light beam
Remember what really counts
Family not dollar amounts
