Take me away
Away from this horrible place
Place in time
Time swallows me whole
Whole days pass on
On to the next year
Year on to the next
Next follower comes along
Along on a journey
Journey somewhere new
New people come and go
Go along the sidewalk
Sidewalk leads to the park
Park leads to work
Work from dusk till dawn
Dawn to a new day
Days to take me away
