Dusk merges with shadows
that surround and enclose
silhouettes in repose;
claimed by Twilight.
Luna slowly ascends:
as Her beauty transcends
Night, and darkness descends
bathed in moonlight.
Now, no longer concealed,
shining stars are revealed;
and darkness is repealed
by faint starlight.
Dawn heralds the sunrise,
and to no one's surprise:
furthering Night's demise
Sol brings daylight.
