Daydreaming Acrostic

Daring to hope a fantasy really can come true
All day long I dream of you
You are always in my thoughts
Dreaming peacefully in a world of my own
Reality isn’t everything we want in our life
Every daydream takes away our worry and strife
All encompassing thoughts we don’t ever need to share
My inner desires of which I am now aware
I have dreams I will probably never fulfill
No one can take these thoughts away
Go on and daydream – it could brighten up your day

I love the positive message you send in this write. Life would be so boring if we did not dream and let fantasy take over once in awhile.... A beautiful acrostic poem, Jan. I enjoyed it very much! Congrats on another win! :)

"Daydreaming" is one of the first songs that I wrote; still hold it close to my heart. Your poem is beautiful and I love the flow which is a must in a good acrostic. Where would we be without daydreaming? Goodnight, Jan and take care. // paul
