Daydream
For a while, I watched his serious expression observing the horizon
Never thought I would ever be this close to him.
It’s so scary -- he doesn’t smile.
Oh, wait.
He just did it when realized I’m looking at him.
So strange. So strange!
He’s here, in front of me,
And I can’t barely describe how strange this is.
He’s alive. He breathes, he moves.
So human and even though, so silent!
And then, those emeralds reflect my image.
“What?”
“You’re here. It’s so strange.”
“Why?”
“Because I can see you existing. And it’s beautiful.”
For the first time I saw him smiling for real.
“You’re so cute.”
And then, was my time to smile.
