Day Without You--Truth Hits

I meet you in the morning
Knowing the day is going to be slow
Because you leave next block
And will be gone all day

Still I walk the halls
Knowing you're not there
But I can't help watching everyone
Hoping to catch a glimpse of your face

For it is your face
That comes to mind
Whenever I laugh
Or when I'm sad

It is your face
That makes my heart skip a beat
Brings my butterflies to life
And makes my face glow

It was you that saved me
Before you were even mine
You saw the darkness around me
And taught me to love the light

With each passing moment
I like you even more
And with every new day
We become ever closer

Then the truth hits me
Realization came out of nowhere
It crosses my mind
Every time I think of you

Telling you is the hard part
But I think you already know
The truth of it is
I think I'm falling in love with you
