Day of Victory

On the day Christ died
On Calvary’s tree,
All was for me supplied
For me to be free.
Free from the sin,
The guilt and the shame.
Victory He did win
Oh praise His name!
Emmanuel is that name
That explains Who He is.
“God with us” we exclaim
This truth don’t miss.
Though He died for all
Many will never know.
They’ll not on Him call
For His mercy to bestow!
