Day of Unproductivity
Another rainy day!
Pouring non-stop,
Evergreens seem not to mind - swaying merrily with the wild wind,
Concrete roads turning into crystal lakes with the sweeping waves,
Somber, grey clouds reflect their opaque shadows on the puddles,
Sky and Rain meet lovingly in the scintillating tiniest drops.
Sky gloomy,
Air - misty, hazy,
Some days are unproductive - let them be!
The little pieces of enchanting happiness -
Books, and paints, and yarn and a large window - let them take precedence!
Not going to count the jobs that are done,
Or not done!
Will not count the days to return
To the usual routine, and dreary days of utmost productivity!
I will simply watch the glistening raindrops,
Enjoy the pitter-patter,
All day long!
