Day of Disappointment

When you cease to be amused By all my ways If you suddenly lose The smile on your face I'll know it's come I'll know it's taken place You'll tire of the words You hear so often You'll claim you've heard The same things all over again And I'll dread the moment You tell me the end When you stop looking at me As though you're entranced If you stop touching and we Both leave the dance I'll know I've failed I'll know I've lost my stance You'll feel disappointed And you'll wonder why You'll see we're disjointed And wonder if you should even try The day you question my love Is the day I'll begin to die
