Day Dreaming

Blank stares to the wall, watching as the world falls. I'm not as clueless, as she is ruthless. My hero before my eyes, watching as the world dies. We learn the new laws, as they're creeping up these halls. She points to the facts, for the knowledge we lack. The films show us nothing, nothing they can bring. I fought past the heartache, I fought so she wouldn't break. The girl in front knows all, the dead in the back cannot stand tall. Inclusion is no longer key, notice as they left me. They cannot hear, what is left to fear. I notice the voiceless screaming, though I was only day dreaming. This place isn't safe and secure, it isn't loving and pure. I can point out every wrong, every shattered angelic song. She can't stop talking, they can't help stalking. We are no longer in the clear, she's talking again I fear. I'm the only one, without a mind, they seem this hard to find. Though I'm not the one who's blind.
