Day At a Time
The hours are long,
the days are confusing.
wonder to yourself who is going to slip or fall next.
Watch the things they do
Sometimes leaves you puzzled on the inside.
Some things are funny,
other things make you want to sit back and shed a tear.
Stare into those lost eyes of ambition and fear.
Only if they knew what they were doing here.
It is sad when you know they have no control.
Try your hardest to make things easier.
Know matter how hard you try every day is a struggle
for a lot of America
Some many understand,
Many will laugh and joke.
You just sit there and watch
You know deep down how hard these men and women have it.
cory long
Many Alzheimer patients face this every day..
