Day and Night

DAY   AND   NIGHT

In winter, our northern days are almost banished 
The night is like a big black cat at bay
The daylight  sky has almost vanished
The day’s a  timid grey mouse afraid to play

We are having our first laying snowfall this morning in Springfield,Ohio. December 1,2010 what a way to enter this month. It is absolutely beautiful and finds me in good spirits.
