D-awn eleventh of April
E-ndorses a million mirth;
M-orning sunlight warms
Y-our great day of birth.
N-ew dawn eleventh of April
O-pens the wide skyway;
V-ile weather has vanished
I-nto the dark or gray.
C-herish the Tuesday beacon,
I-t brings a thousand thrill;
O-pen your eyes and see the dawn eleventh of April.
