Dawn Denies the Night
D-awn denies the night,
O-ne flame is in view;
L-et the dusk and twilight
L-eave far away from
Y-ou.
N-ew dawn denies the night,
E-ighth of April Saturday;
P-ouring rain disappears,
O-nce the sun comes your way.
M-orn denies the night,
U-nder the wide blue sky;
C-oal clouds all become white,
E-vening chill passes by.
N-eath the burning beacon, warmth sets things aright;
O-nly when the dark ends, dawn denies the night.
