Dawn Breaks

I used to write of sorrow the pleasure of the pain I used to sing the blues tears fall like waters rained I used to fear tomorrow thought i'd lost my way Hiding from the truth kness bending from the strain I used to dance in darkness Now all of that has changed I found the srength to stand up straight I dance only in the light My knees are bent from praying take pleasure in doing right Foregone is guilt and anger removed is hate and spite Replaced by love and pleasure no more restless nights Now the scars on my arm tell the story my lips refuse to say And the scars on my heart are healing turns out i'm stronger than the pain

We are having our first laying snowfall this morning in Springfield,Ohio. December 1,2010 what a way to enter this month. It is absolutely beautiful and finds me in good spirits. I have enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Kessie. Looking forward to reading more. Have a wonderful day. Love, Carol
