Dawn
darkness lightens
rays beams of faint
distant light
illuminate the horizon
in views less dim
emerging anew
the paints of the gods
reflect their color tinged
passion for another day
bright beautiful
and with it
hope clean and oure
dreams of greater things
and the sky
looks down
smiling
