Dawn

From the moment I met her I could not contain,
how I really felt inside in times of despair I could not refrain.

Her name is as certain as the sunrise,
mystery contained within studied like the skies.

She is my comrade and one of the few,
someone that I wished sooner I knew.

We both have so much in common it's hard to compare,
it's difficult with her not to find anything to share.

Radiant as a star there is no equal.

Her name is Dawn desired as a friend,
to share our what lies within each other only to transcend.

Dawn, oh radiant beauty, oh shining light,
you contrast all that exists from the dark of night.
