Dawn

The dull lack of sleep. Wishing to be blessed with sheep. Even with soft pajamas. I still feel the day’s stamina. Even with soft rain, I’m still lying here in vain. This frustration I try to ignore. There’s contemplation in being bored. The clock is menacing. There’s loneliness in never sleeping. Awake in my own home. I decide to play on my phone. The light from the screen makes me yawn. At a bad time, it is almost dawn! That’s when exhaustion always seems to strike. After a long sleepless hike.
