Darwin's Knock
as a lighthouse
is to tell ships
it's alright
sail towards me
reach safety
in my arms
but light travels faster
than the speed
of sound so
by now you've found
you've run aground
without wax
in your ears
as fear harbors
you blind and soon
deaf knowing now
how the sirens
have evolved
