Darkness Within

The morning sun does bring the night.
The darkest light my passage rite.
My soul is tired from minds true shame.
The dark reclaims with one to blame.

A life of toil and repressed thought.
Until the end true peace is sought.
The demon spawned and left to dwell.
The pain from past begins to swell.

The end I seek with more to come.
The bitter bite does leave me numb.
I fight my battle now every day.
I look for peace to come and stay.

The demons of the past surface from time to time, I hope that inner peace comes your way Mark. Tom
