Darkness of Sturm Und Drang

Darkness of Sturm und Drang

Darkness of Sturm und Drang
When you gotta fight with your own fated yarn
Dark persuades your shadow
Sheds your mortal mass
And gore inscribes the merciless nights
Sins like gems carved in my chest
Crucify me
I'll resurrect; soon, sooner!

Darkness of Sturm und Drang
Erupts like the lava
Gushed out to reach the penniless heart
Wide on those paddy fields
And lunar eclipse ornate the ether
Sprog witnesses the colleen in greyed
On branches she keeps swinging
Haunting the critters at bay
He sincerely heeds to her yarn each night
And nap in her lap!

Wow, Shahnaz! Are you referring to the music group, Sturm and Drang, with their song "Fear of the Dark?" Or the "sturm and drang" (storm-and-stress period) of emotional turmoil used by G. Stanley Hall to characterize adolescence; or the proto-Romantic movement in German literature and music that occurred between the late 1760s and early 1780s? Whatever, your poem is very dark but resonates with me. Your poem would read well on a dark, moonless and starless night around a campfire. Cheers! ~Mark

Thank you very much Mark Toney! " My poem was about the way one swedges through or with his or her own mayhem within oneself and believe me it is one's very dark vehemence'.
