Darkness Must End
it is so hard to believe
how this world made my heart grieve
with bullying and racism
its so much to overcome
there is no way to describe
how my heart feels inside
thinking back of good-ol-days
and all the ol-fashioned ways
that brought everyone together
I can't imagine nothing better
than having it the way we were
now my mind is just unsure
of where this world is finally heading
the disgrace is overwhelming
there should never be a time
someones made fun of--its a crime
why does someone think its right
to be dark just like the night
scaring others with their words
racism should not be heard
bullying's another way
to bring clouds on someone's day
emotional or physical
it makes me awfully ill
just thinking of this act
cant we all just make a pact
to share the love in our hearts
that would be a way to start
turning the darkness to light
making everything alright
