Darkness Engulf the Room
My Narrative Reportage for 8/8/2018
Darkness engulf the room, in my dream,
The summer knaves logo theme, heats the city
like rows of open pizza ovens:
and Just in time for the after crop over party:
While the rain drops dried faster than Polypropylene:
Humans are meant to move,
but to observed the apples, pears,
Hourglass and the squares figures, those untimely
curves of the female bodies: seem only to capture
the photographer’s lens in the parade:
Leaving, the men on the sideline in the corner on the road:
mean while into the midstream, many heart wonder about the
Live streaming of sexual exploitations of shame or fame?
Enormous expensive crops- over festival
A favorite of mine since, nineteen seventy nine:
July -August the heart of the summer: lime
Not even the heat of your blood, nor the innocent
Of your youth, could stop you from flapping
those unwanted body fat: to the bad tasting lyrics
of the people’s winnings artiste:
Rain falling, heat blasting, tar glue to your shoes,
Sweaty bodies, colorful costume flock to the streets
From Jovvae morning, to six am or until party done
While creating lasting memories: sun up to sundown
Darkness engulf the room, in my dream
Wondering what really happen to me,
My youth that was once filled with happiness,
How can I continue comforting the darkness?
**The moment I share the light, the world becomes a brighter place.**
Look out for this diva,/poetess sometime next year…in the Congo line
