Darkness creeping closer
Loneliness, sorrow and despair
Running, screaming, pleading
But no one seems to care
Alone in the dark
Not one sign of light
No way out of it
No strength to fight
Everyday is harder
Than the day before
Everyday she grows weaker
So tired, don't want to fight it anymore
Darkness creeping closer
Loneliness, sorrow and despair
Running, screaming, pleading
Why doesn't anyone care
Can't you people see
That I can't stand being me
Can't you people see
I don't want to keep on living
Tired of all the stress
Sadness in my heart
Darkness creeping closer
No light to break up the dark
*** Some of the poems I've posted are from a book I started making, in it i explain the darkness of past days i had, I have made it to help others see that even on the darkest of days we can stand strong. :) I thank God everyday for giving me the strength to hold on and the will to keep on, otherwise i wouldn't be here sharing my poetry with you and the world. :)
