Darkness, Blackness, I'M Such a Mess

Can’t you see the darkness, Formulating in your eyes? Can’t you see the blackness, Spreading all sorts of lies? I’m sorry to say, but black is not my color tonight… But yet I’m wearing it on my boots both day and night It reminds me darkness, blackness, Holier than all is what you are to me Yet, you are but the abyss I won’t miss Taller than you is what I see in you, I see? But I’m facing the blackness, darkness I’m in distress and I’m in the blackness Smaller than me, now I clearly see…me… I’m losing myself deep down inside… Deep down inside my lonesome eyes, I see You’re all and all my favorite kind of blackness from the outside… Where have you been? I can’t see you, blackening Into the abyss, you go I’ll reap what I sow…sow… I’m sorry to say, but black is not my color tonight… But yet I’m wearing it on my boots both day and night It reminds me darkness, blackness, Holier than all is what you are to me Yet, you are but the abyss I won’t miss Taller than you is what I see in you, I see? But I’m facing the blackness, darkness I’m in distress and I’m in the blackness Smaller than me, now I clearly see…me… I’m losing myself deep down inside… Deep down inside my lonesome eyes, I see You’re all and all my favorite kind of blackness from the outside… Looking in Looking in I’m having a good night, night, night Yes, yet, you won’t let me be full of fright It won’t happen if you see me flappin’ My wings, all about and what not — where have you been? I’m sorry to say, but black is not my color tonight… But yet I’m wearing it on my boots both day and night It reminds me darkness, blackness, Holier than all is what you are to me Yet, you are but the abyss I won’t miss Taller than you is what I see in you, I see? But I’m facing the blackness, darkness I’m in distress and I’m in the blackness Smaller than me, now I clearly see…me… I’m losing myself deep down inside… Deep down inside my lonesome eyes, I see You’re all and all my favorite kind of blackness from the outside… Once you’re in the blackness, You’ll never come back into the abyss — I must confess I need your kind of happiness… I don’t need this madness… Into my distress and into my eustress… I am having a good night, So I won’t be full of fright I am going to grow on in delight As long as I wing this forward tonight Can’t you see the darkness, Formulating in your eyes with many delightful lights? Can’t you see the blackness, Spreading all sorts of beautiful goodnight’s? And yes, black is my kind of color tonight Because I’m wearing it on my boots with my might! Blackness, darkness surrounds me I’m such a mess as you can clearly see
