Darkness

When daylight goes down and darkness descends upon the town, a cold chill sends shivers down your spine. You're all alone on a darkened street and you hear the echo of a stranger's feet. The wind whispers through the leaves, shadowy hands reach out from gnarled trees. In the darkness you hear the moans and glowing eyes peer out at you, watching you closely as you move. A swirling fog sweeps in on you, your eyes blur from its misty dew. Your feet slow, but you've lost your way. No one hears your dying screams, they find your body in the stream. ALesiach © 9/29/2015
