Darkness
Darkness
When you face a new moon
Your back is to the sun
That is when I can
Whisper to darkness
When darkness falls
I understand the reason
I feel the light fade
Hold me closer
Let me feel your warm embrace
Let me be free
I soar across the sky
Where have you gone
Am I all alone
It is getting very cold
The loneliness does not consume me
It swallows me whole
I writhe in its emptiness
Surrounded by the hollowness
Within my-self
