Darkness
There is a place in every person
In that secret spot, you would find this truth
It shows how much we are truly alike
As members of the human race
We all have something we’re afraid of
We all have something that we fear
And when I wake up in the morning
I feel my fear is drawing near
Darkness it’s coming closer
Ah the darkness its drawing near
Where is the light to show my way?
Where is the light to drive it away?
Darkness it’s all around us
Ah the darkness its drawing near
But when I met you it was a Son rise
In your eyyyyyes of
Your dark eyes they’re coming closer
Ah your dark eyes are drawing near
You touched me in the twilight
You loved me through the night of
No more darkness in the morning
No more darkness do I fear
For as I wake up and to my surprise
I find that you’re always here
