Darkest Day

It’s no use now it’s gone up in flames
I hear the voices but the have no names
Their ashes crackle and the body’s burn
Nowhere to hide
Nowhere to turn

Come drink my sorrow and my tears
Take all my vengeance and my fear
My heart will burn and light the way

Lightning strikes and thunder crashes
More pain than 10,000 lashes
My heart will burn and light the way
To your darkest day

The city burns with a rusty flame
Tired weak and weary frame
Twist and buckle in the flames of hell
Oh well

Come drink my sorrow and my tears
Take all my vengeance and my fear
My heart will burn and light the way

Lightning strikes and thunder crashes
More pain than 10,000 lashes
My heart will burn and light the way
To your darkest day
