Darkened Days

I now see the crossroads my time is at hand
I’ve met the devil and proudly taken my stand
With my Lord and my God my heart will stay true
No matter what happens I’ll stand here with you
Your loyalty and wisdom are beyond compare
You gave us your life and paid for our fare
You give love for all, and you go all in
You hold our hearts in your hands and forgive man’s sin
Forgive me my Lord for all that I’ve done
I have let you down and you’ve never cut and run
Please see my heart and know that it’s true
I’m down on my knees, I’m here just for you
Watch my brothers and sisters and their children as well
I pray they believe, and in your kingdom, they’ll dwell
Please help us God I humbly pray
Please help guide us through these darkened days
