Dark Shadows
He chases me
I run, faster and faster
He is catching up
I try and fight him
He is chasing me
I'm running fast
He is gaining speed
I turn and stand my ground, He attacks
I don't know why this happens
It occurs every night
The nightmares are frightening
Dark and Tall
Tall
Dark
Never seen in the light
I do not know what he looks like
Masculine
Scary
Out to kill only one thing
Me
So I run
Every night like the rest
Running from the beast
That's afraid to show his face to me
Thinking I figure
He is as scared of me as I am of him
I fought back and he shrunk
Down to the size of a pebble
I pick him up and thrown him away
He is now gone
The nightmares are too
