Dark Room

Sittin in this deep dark room, The atmosphere heavy with gloom. No one here, And no one there. There is no light, So I dont put up a fight. I hear the buzz of sound, But the people cant be found. I hear them talking, And I hear them walking. I dont belong here, And I dont belong there. I hear them talk about me, Yet they dont invite me to tea. Then I hear nothing, Not a thing. Then I hear a loud thud, The room turns to the color of blood. I look down at the puddle of red, My arms already out bled. I start to cry, My wings no longer able to fly. I hear a mans voice deep and mysterious, whispering "don't cry my precious." I look up to a tall stranger, I relize there is no danger. He strides closer, I feel like a loser. He stands looking down at me, I feel as small as a flea. I look up into his eyes, My wings beggin for the skies. He spreads his wings of pure black, As they expand I am taken aback. Mine of white with baby blue tips, Stir as i watch the movement of his lips. As he says "take my hand, And I will take you to my land. You will be once again free, As you were ment to be. It hurts me to see you this way, So come with me as the humans would say... I love you, And I know you feel it too." He holds out his hand, I look imagining what it would be like in his land. I dont know this man, But he says he loves me. He seems so familiar, I know my misery is over. I look around, No one else can be found. I look back up at him, I know I have a friend. So I reach up and grab his hand, He pulls me close as his wings expand. He whispers "it's going to be alright", As we fly into the night.
