Dark Road
I took the dark road from the spot
Where joy, my heart abides
It must have been my fate less lot
To have to say goodbyes
From where joy, my heart abides I go
This parting is enough
To fill my heart with grief and sorrow
As now I leave my love
This parting is enough though we
Will meet up yet again
For in a day or so we'll see
Each other once again
We'll meet up yet again and soon
And hold each other close
With every sun and every moon
Our love will ever grow
